Juniors Program - Fall 2016

Our 2016 Fall Juniors Program is the best place to start your soccer education!! Sporting Springfield prides itself on being the home for youth soccer development in the area. The Juniors program is the first step in that process.

The season will begin with our first practice on Wednesday, August 31. We practice at the Lake Country Soccer Complex, Cooper #1 (stadium field) off of Pythian Dr.

Games will be held on Saturdays beginning September 10th. Those games are held at the Lake Country South fields, next to the Soccer Dome. Schedules will be released in late August. For inclement weather on Saturdays, games are played inside the Lake Country Dome.

Junior's practices will focus on developing individual skills in a fun and safe environment. We use individual and group activities that will allow players plenty of opportunities to play learn.

For games, players will be placed with a team of 6-8 players for the entire season. We try to honor requests for teammates on these teams. The game format will be 4v4 using a 'new ball' method to encourage maximum opportunities for all players to participate. .
