The second session of the Juniors Program was another success for the Springfield SC!! The next session will begin on April 5, and runs through May 17. Make sure to sign up early and share with friends, neighbors, and others. SSC welcomes any, and all, interested in starting their soccer development to join the SSC Juniors Program. This program is designed to introduce young kids to the game of soccer. Every player will spend as much time as possible with a ball during each session so they develop a high skill level with the ball and therefore a love of the game. Each session will introduce soccer to the kids in a stress free environment so they learn more, and quicker. NEW FOR THE 3rd SESSION: an optional game component!! We will offer the chance to play in real games every Saturday morning (time and teams TBD once registration is finalized) at the SSC Indoor facility. Playing indoors will give the players the unending opportunity to touch the ball as it will never go out of play unless a goal is scored. The 10 fold increase in touches is paramount to player improvement and comfort with the ball.
The SSC Juniors program is open to any child that wants an introduction to soccer. SSC has spent 15+ years developing players in the Springfield community to reach their ultimate level (high school, college, or beyond) including running the Springfield Catholic Soccer Camps, LCS Mini/Junior program, and camps in West Plains, Ozark, Branson, and Rogersville.
Participation in the SSC Juniors Program only requires an 7 week commitment, every Friday evening at the SSC Indoor Facility (3105 E. Elm, Springfield, MO 65802).
5:45-6:45 Manchester Utd. (Players born January 1, 2008-July 31, 2009)
6:45-7:45 Barcelona (Players born August 1, 2006-December 31, 2007)
